In terms of golf, there is a definite challenge for all levels of players. The South Course at La Manga is seen as the Championship Course with many tournaments being held on it throughout the year. There is an abundance of water features and barrancas which will scare even the most seasoned golfer. Despite this, there are without doubt birdies and eagles to be found but players must be prepared to face a tough test to protect their scores between holes 15-17.

By contrast the North Course appears to be an easier challenge. However, due to its slightly higher elevation the player will really have to factor in the breeze on windy days! However there is the chance for all golfers to score well as it provides a fair test.

The West Course is a slightly different challenge to the other two courses as it is found in the hills amongst the pine trees. This makes for a stunning golf course which is often described as the most picturesque of the three. The elevated 18th tee offers players the chance to drive off a cliff and gives the best views of anywhere on the resort to the Mediterranean. It provides a very tricky challenge with the need for an iron off the tee on many of the holes. Try not to relax and enjoy the view although that is much easier said than done!
