Augusta National was opened in 1933 and the two tournament creators, Bobby Jones and Clifford Roberts founded the invitation only format. Since 1949 the famous Green Jacket has been awarded to the winner with tradition dictating that the winner keeps it for one year before returning to Augusta and past winners receive an invitation to play the tournament.

There are few sporting events that can rival the Masters – the worlds best players, the history and the quality of the golf course make for a very special atmosphere. Masters tickets are the most desired ticket in sport. The ballot for tickets opened in 1972 and closed in 1978, however ITC Sports have built up a substantial network of contacts and are able to obtain offical tickets.
