ITC Sports is delighted to be working with Adriatic International Regattas Limited (AIR) to bring you the opportunity to compete in their Dubrovnik Regatta. Ideally located in a majestic city which is reachable from all across Europe and beyond, the Regatta provides a unique experience. You can join us either as a team, a boat owner or as an individual (AIR will place you aboard with other keen sailors with a professional skipper).

AIR is run by sailors for sailors - John Grandy, Peter Wykeham-Martin, Michael Bird and Brian Earley to be exact - all with a wealth of experience in sailing and staging regattas. Using their knowledge and experience of racing and Croatia, we have creating a fabulous weekend in this most stunning of countries.

There will be a series of races throughout the weekend, with the winners taking home the much-coveted AIR Cup. We will be staying at the fantastic Palace Hotel in Dubrovnik and will be supported by the Orsan Racing Club locally who along with John and Peter of GWM Racing Ltd will manage the Regatta on the water. All entrants will have a pre-race practise day, followed by a day of two “Pursuit Races” on Saturday with the main event taking place on the Sunday.

ITINERARY

10 May
Depart the UK for Dubrovnik, where you will be met on arrival and transferred to the Palace Hotel for four nights accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis. This evening, enjoy welcome drinks with canapés and dinner.

11 May
This morning, there will be a full briefing before coaches will take teams to the Marina for an afternoon of practice sailing. On your return from the yacht club, the remainder of the evening will be at leisure.

12 May
After breakfast, all teams will transfer to the yacht club for two pursuit races – one in the morning, the second in the afternoon – after which transfers are arranged to return to the hotel for another evening at leisure.

13 May
Race day! After a hearty breakfast, head to the yacht club and compete for the ‘Adriatic International Regatta Cup’ before returning to the marina. Coaches will return the winners and all other crews to the hotel prior to the Gala Dinner, including the presentation ceremony.

14 May
Transfers have been arranged to Dubrovnik for your return flight to the UK.
